Pon de Rock is located in Fort Charles, a small community near Treasure Beach. This is a very quiet coastal area with spectacular views on to the longest natural beach of the south coast of Jamaica.

Pon de Rock is a property with three Jamaican style studios, each suitable for two with an ocean-front view, brilliantly clear air and an unspoiled atmosphere. The rooms are well furnished and the kitchens fully equipped.

You will find a gazebo with a table and benches in front of each house and shady sitting areas under the trees.

The studios are surrounded by wonderful rock formations with nearby, accessible caves which are ready for you to explore. The higher you climb the better the view of the Caribbean and Jamaica’s south coast. There are great views over the Fort Charles Beach and as likely as not, you will have them to yourself.

The property has many shady areas with trees and agaves, where you can sit and watch the pelicans and dolphins and have a “sundowner”. We have beautiful sunsets. Great snorkelling is available all along the coastline.

The Fort Charles Beach is within walking distance (15 min) or 5 min by bike. There is another small beach with lots of shells and easy access just 5 minutes from us.

From Pon de Rock to Frenchman´s Bay and to the restaurants there its approx. 7 km. To “Desorene's Cookshop” and "Strikie-T's Jerk Restaurant" in Billy´s Bay, where they sell delicious food and to a small shop that sells basics, approx. 4 km. Cars, bikes and scooters can be rented in Billy´s Bay and at Treasure Beach.

It is self-catering, our live-out housekeeper and cook can be hired for an extra charge. Laundry service is available upon request.

Pon de Rock is 2,5 hrs from Montego Bay and 1 hr from Mandeville. We offer airport transfer and would be happy to assist you with your organization. We accept international bank transfers and payments.

We offer transfer from both airports and we provide you with a mobile phone as well as contact numbers of local taxi drivers and car & bike rentals etc. We will send you an info package to facilitate your organization. Please speak to us about your transportation if you do not rent a car.
